Historian
Sonji Lynn Revis
Sonji is a member of “THE GREAT” Spelman College Class of 1988. She is a Detroit native and currently resides in the Lansing area, in the city of DeWitt.
“I have been active since graduation, serving as an officer in multiple capacities over the past twenty-plus years. My interest in serving stems from my desire to see the mission of our chapter fulfilled. When I became a member of NAASC following graduation, the Sisters on whose shoulders we stand selflessly served. They shared, laughed, and cried with us, they passed down traditions and stories. I serve the NAASC Detroit Chapter to continue connecting our history with our present and to enhance our future. ‘Service is the rent we pay for living on this earth’. “
